Zanesville’s Hometown Nursery Since 1973
Timber Run Gardens has been rooted in the Zanesville community for over 50 years. Founded in 1973 with a vision to bring professional horticulture and quality landscape design to Southeastern Ohio, we’ve grown from a single garden center on U.S. Rt. 40 into a 20+ acre growing operation with the largest plant selection in the region. Our iconic greenhouse — originally built in the 1920s as part of the Wyandt vegetable gardens in Newark, Ohio — was carefully disassembled, transported, and rebuilt right here on our property, preserving a genuine piece of Ohio agricultural history. Long active in the local community, Timber Run Gardens has partnered with the Muskingum Valley Garden Society on beautification projects throughout the Zanesville area, including downtown planter installations and the annual Spring Garden Symposium. In 2026, Timber Run Gardens entered an exciting new chapter under the local ownership of Chad Parker of CP’s Landscape & Outdoor Supply — carrying forward the same commitment to quality plants, expert advice, and genuine community service that has defined this place for generations. When you visit us, you’re not just shopping at a nursery. You’re supporting a piece of Zanesville’s living history.
